Attendees aged 16 and 17 are welcome to come to BiCon in their own right and if they so they they will be expected to pay the appropriate fees for registration/accommodation (unless they have applied to and been given assistance from the Equalities Fund). Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult. Some sessions may be closed to under 18s or under 16s, depending on their content. Babes-in-arms are welcome at all sessions.
In order to run a crèche facility, we will need a minimum number of children registered – if you are interested in such a facility being available, please let us know.
We are interested in ideas about how we can make BiCon more accessible to people with children. Some suggestions include providing some help paying for childcare, providing some child friendly sessions during the day, or putting parents in touch with each other. Please get in touch if you interested in any of these or have other ideas, even if you don’t want to volunteer to do them yourself.
