By Car

The University’s postcode for sat nav purposes: BD7 1RD. The M606 motorway connects Bradford to the national network. Directions are available from the AA. Please email us you are driving to BiCon so we can arrange a parking permit.

• Leave the M606 at junction 3

• at roundabout take the 3rd exit

• merge onto the A6177 Mayo Ave (signposted Ring Road)

• at traffic signals turn right onto the A641 Manchester Road (Signposted City Centre)

• at traffic signals turn left onto the A647 Senior Way (signposted Queensbury)

• at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A647

• At traffic signals turn left onto Morley Street

• Take the first right, then immediate left (unnamed streets)

• Turn right onto Manville Terrace

• Turn left onto Great Horton Road

• Turn right onto Richmond Road

• Follow the BiCon signposts around campus

By Train or Coach

Services from Manchester, Leeds, Blackpool, York and Wakefield, and some services from London, terminate at Bradford Interchange.

Rail services from Leeds, local trains, and some London services termiate at Forster Square.

To get to Bradford by rail from other national destinations, change at Leeds for a train to either Bradford Interchange or Forster Square stations. Walking from either station takes around 10-15 minutes, 5 minutes of which is up a steep hill. Licenced taxis are available, usually without a wait, from both stations. Expect to pay around £4.50.

National Express coach services terminate at Bradford Interchange.

From Bradford Interchange on foot

• Walk down Bridge Street

• Cross the road at Hall Ings

• Cross the road at Norfolk Gardens

• Turn left and cross Centenary Square onto Market Street

• Cross the road and turn left opposite the dilapidated Odeon cinema

• At the Alhambra theatre, turn right onto Great Horton Road

• Walk up Great Horton Road, past Bradford College

• Turn right onto Richmond Road and the University Campus

From Forster Square on foot

• Walk down Cheapside past the Midland Hotel

• Turn right onto Market Street

• Cross Bridge Street into Centenary Square

• Follow the route from Centenary Square as above

By Air

Leeds-Bradford Airport stands 9.7km (6 miles) North-West of the city.
